HELPFUL DETAILS

GOOD HALEEM.
NO GUESSWORK.

We have kept the answers straightforward. If you cannot find what you need, get in touch and we will be happy to help.

WHAT IS HALEEM?

Haleem is a slow-cooked dish made with meat, lentils, grains and aromatic spices. Everything cooks together over time to create its signature rich, smooth and comforting texture.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN CHICKEN AND BEEF HALEEM?

Chicken Haleem is lighter, smoother and milder, allowing the lentils, grains and spices to shine through. Beef Haleem is richer, deeper and heartier, with a more robust slow-cooked savoury flavour.

HOW MANY PEOPLE DOES ONE PORTION SERVE?

Regular portions are generally suitable for one person, while large portions are typically suitable for 2-3 people to share. Please note that serving sizes are a guide only, as appetites and preferences vary - one person may enjoy a large portion, while a large portion may also be shared between 2–3 people.

IS HALEEM SPICY?

Our Haleem is made for depth of flavour rather than overwhelming heat. It has warming spices, but the finished dish is intended to be balanced and enjoyable. Fresh garnishes and lemon let you adjust the flavour to your taste.

ARE YOUR INGREDIENTS HALAL?

Yes. We use 100% halal ingredients. If you have a specific ingredient question before ordering, please contact us and we will be happy to help.

WHAT COMES WITH MY HALEEM?

Each portion is finished with our signature garnishes. Naan is not included with haleem, so you can add exactly as much as you like when you order. See the naan questions below.

DOES HALEEM COME WITH NAAN?

No. Our haleem is sold on its own, and naan is added separately. There are two ways to add naan:

Standard naan: choose how many in the Add Naans option on the haleem page, before adding it to your cart.

Homemade naan: our freshly made naan, available to pre-order as a separate item.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN STANDARD AND HOMEMADE NAAN?

Standard naan is available with every haleem order and is added on the haleem page. Homemade naan is made by hand, fresh to order, so it is a pre-order item that needs at least 8 hours’ notice.

HOW DO I ADD STANDARD NAAN?

On the Chicken Haleem or Beef Haleem page, choose your portion, then pick how many naans to add, up to 3 per portion. The price for your naans is shown before you add to cart. Your choice applies to each portion in your quantity.

HOW DO I ORDER HOMEMADE NAAN?

Add homemade naan to your cart alongside at least one haleem. In your cart, choose your delivery date and time slot, and your whole order will be delivered together.

WHY IS HOMEMADE NAAN A PRE-ORDER?

Our homemade naan is made fresh for each order, so we need at least 8 hours’ notice to prepare it properly. Order by 10am for same-day delivery from 6pm, or choose a later date up to 7 days ahead.

CAN I ORDER NAAN ON ITS OWN?

Naan is made to be enjoyed with haleem, so both standard and homemade naan need to be ordered with at least one haleem.

CAN I ORDER BOTH STANDARD AND HOMEMADE NAAN?

Yes. If you would prefer only homemade naan, simply choose No naans in the Add Naans option on the haleem page, then add homemade naan to your cart.

IS THERE A MINIMUM OR MAXIMUM NAAN ORDER?

There is no minimum. You can add up to 3 standard naans per haleem portion. For 15 or more homemade naans, please get in touch before ordering so we can plan your order.

WHERE DO YOU DELIVER?

We deliver within a 5-mile radius of our kitchen in Aylesbury, covering Aylesbury and nearby villages including Bierton, Stoke Mandeville, Weston Turville and Waddesdon. The full list of areas is shown at the bottom of every page, and delivery is confirmed by postcode at checkout.

WHEN DO YOU DELIVER?

We deliver every day from 6pm to 11pm. In your cart, you choose your delivery date and a 30-minute time slot.

CAN I ORDER IN ADVANCE?

Yes. You can place your order up to 7 days ahead. Just pick your delivery date and time slot in your cart. Same-day delivery is available while time slots remain.

MY ORDER INCLUDES HOMEMADE NAAN. WHEN WILL IT ARRIVE?

Your whole order, including your haleem, is delivered together on the date and time slot you choose. Same-day delivery is available for orders with homemade naan placed by 10am; after that, the earliest delivery is the next day.

CAN I ORDER THROUGH DELIVEROO OR UBER EATS?

Yes. You can order directly through the Haleem Rush website, or find us on Deliveroo and Uber Eats when we are available in your area. Ordering direct gives you the full Haleem Rush experience and the clearest information for larger orders. Ordering in advance and homemade naan are available when you order on our website.

CAN I PLACE A LARGE ORDER FOR AN EVENT?

Absolutely. For family gatherings, parties and celebrations, we freshly prepare large orders of 15 or more portions and deliver them ready to serve, anywhere within around 1–2 hours of Aylesbury. Large orders are delivered on Saturdays and Sundays; for a weekday, just get in touch and we will do our best to make it work.

Send us the details through our catering enquiry form.

HOW MUCH NOTICE DO YOU NEED FOR A LARGE ORDER?

Please contact us as early as possible so we can confirm availability, menu choices and delivery arrangements. Larger orders need advance planning to make sure every portion is prepared properly.

HOW DO I STORE AND REHEAT HALEEM?

Follow the storage and reheating guidance supplied with your order. As a general rule, keep it refrigerated if you are not eating it straight away, reheat until piping hot throughout and do not reheat more than once.

DO YOU PROVIDE ALLERGEN INFORMATION?

Yes. Allergen information should be reviewed before ordering and will be available with your order. If you have an allergy or dietary requirement, contact us before placing an order so we can confirm the current ingredients and preparation information. Allergen information is also available on our website.

CAN I AMEND OR CANCEL AN ORDER?

Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to change an order. We will do our best to help, but changes or cancellations may not be possible once preparation has started or a delivery has been arranged.

HOW CAN I CONTACT YOU ABOUT AN ORDER?

Email us at contact@haleemrush.co.uk, or use the Contact page. For large orders, include your date, number of people, preferred haleem and delivery location.
